Happy Birthday to Amy

Today is my future daughter-in-law's birthday.  Amy and Noah celebrated by enjoying a leisurely morning which included Noah's gift of an airplane ride when they return to Ashland...They are in Philadelphia right now...The couple had a great time visiting an aquarium in New Jersey and were looking forward to a cozy dinner somewhere special.

We are blessed to have Amy as part of our family.  She loves and understands Noah...a mother couldn't ask for more than that!

The Most Wonderful Doll of All

Paulette has outdone herself!  I mentioned to her I would love a grandfather doll to look like my favorite person, Albert Schweitzer, and sent her a picture.

I am overwhelmed by this doll!!!  Albert is pictured with the book my Opa gave me years ago, after introducing me to this remarkable human being...

There are just not enough words to thank my much loved doll maker!

Our friend, Linda, is in dog heaven!  Her beloved English Setter, Palisades Sweet Sadie Sue, is now a CHAMPION!!!  The great thing about this honor is Linda groomed and showed Sadie herself...no handlers...and this is Linda's first year showing dogs.

Congratulations to a great woman and a great dog!
